What is GetWhys?
GetWhys is a customer insights platform that gives you instant access to B2B customer insights. Compass is our AI-powered research tool, and Echo is our content analysis tool—both pull from our proprietary database of in-depth interviews with B2B software users and decision-makers.
How do I get access to GetWhys?
- If your organization has SSO enabled: Just log in using your company credentials.
- If SSO is not enabled: Reach out to the GetWhys team to request access.
- We recommend that new users complete a white glove onboarding (~30 minutes) with a GetWhys employee.

Effectively Using Research Requests
GetWhys doesn't know everything. That's why Pro users get unlimited research requests.
- What's that? When Compass doesn't have the insights you need, submit a research request, and our team will identify and interview people who can answer your question.
- What's the best way to do that? Submit a research request in Chat with as much detail as you can provide—the more specific you are, the easier it is for our team to find and interview the right people.
- How long until I get answers to my questions? We guarantee that you'll have answers to your questions within your AnswerSLA (5-10 business days). More details in the AnswerSLA section below.
